In 1971, Bulova engineered a pilot chronograph specifically for the lunar environment, and it was successfully used on the moon on August 2nd of that year. Now, Bulova has revived this design with a new high precision quartz movement, maintaining its legacy of accuracy with the men's Bulova Lunar Pilot chronograph from the Archive Series. The timepiece's 43.5mm grade 5 titanium case is sandblasted with polished accents, creating a lightweight and modern look. The slim chronograph pushers and crown, adorned with the Bulova tuning fork logo, are perfectly placed at 3 o'clock. Beneath the flat sapphire crystal, the six-hand chronograph dial is expertly crafted from genuine Muonionalusta meteorite, a 4.5-billion-year-old meteorite discovered in Northern Scandinavia in 1906. Each dial has a unique crystalline pattern, adding to the watch's charm. A black tachymeter ring surrounds the dial.
